Irvingia Gabonensis, also known as African Mango Tree, is a type of African Tree native to North Angola. This tree can grow up to 130 feet tall. Its bark presents with a yellow-grey and its leaves are circular and dense with a rich green color. The African Mango Tree flowers from March to June and fruits twice in a year, the first being from April to July and the second being from September to October. 
 
When harvested, the African Mango Tree is cultivated for various uses. The flesh of the fruit is eaten as is and is similar in taste to the widely known mango. The fruit can also be made into jams, wines, juices and jellies. The seeds are typically turned into butter and oil but can be eaten raw or roasted.
